About Rainy PayneRainy Payne is a spoken word recording artist, author, and creative visionary whose journey bridges poetry, house music, and mysticism. A native of Houston, Texas, she attended the University of Texas before relocating to New York City, where she launched a successful career in lifestyle marketing throughout the nightclub and hospitality scene in the mid to late ’90s.In the early 2000s, Rainy began recording original spoken word poetry over house music, distributing handmade acapella CDs to DJs at the Winter Music Conference. Her bold grassroots approach opened doors to international stages, including two European tours, a live residency on DJ Bee’s radio show, and the inaugural Vocal Booth Weekender festival.To date, she’s released over 25 singles, two EPs, and recently charted #1 across four dance music genres on Traxsource with her latest collaboration, Colorblind, produced by Bamo.Now pivoting into the literary world, Rainy is preparing to debut a five-part novel series inspired by recurring dreams she’s experienced for over two decades. The series is supported by her own publishing company, In More Than Words LTD, which also published her earlier works: Full Circle and Love Spell, both available on Amazon.With her roots in performance and her vision in the stars, Rainy Payne continues to blur the lines between the seen and the felt — weaving voice, dream, and story into one unforgettable continuum.
